Happy New Year!

The Year of Four Donkeys 2011: a compilation of video and still photos showing the donkeys – Rubi and Matilde – in their former home in the Sierra Bernia and at the various stages through the year. Finally the births of the two foals – Morris and Aitana – and the donkey family Christmas. (Eight minutes.)

And here again, just for the fun of it, is the video of the two foals playing in October in the evening just before the big storm:

Happy new year to all who visit this blog regularly and to any who may be new to it!

About Gareth Thomas

A fairly mixed career starting as an aircraft technician and later Franciscan friar eventually led into secondary school teaching. I settled in Spain where I teach Geography part-time and spend the rest of my time looking after the needs of four donkeys in a remote location in the mountains in the Costa Blanca. I have three blogs: a geography blog and a donkey blog begun in 2015, plus an old donkey blog which ran from 2010 to 2015.
