Fiesta time…

My scruffy old Fiesta, bought from a friend for 250 Euros has seen me through the school year. With just three more teaching days to go, she has suddenly started cutting out at low revs, echoing my exhaustion. At the end of a year teaching three subjects for exam classes, I am beginning to cut out at low revs myself.

The Fiesta goes straight to the garage at the end of the week, and I will finally have to spend some money on her. I go under the parasol at the end of the week. With a beer. And the beer will be Estrella Galicia.

It would be a pretty poor blog post on this donkey site if there was not a cute donkey. The cute donkey is a Poitou called d’Artagnan.
This picture of d’Artagnan and his mother is from the Baudets du Breuil website in France, home of the Poitou breed.

About Gareth Thomas

After a mixed career as an aircraft technician, London fringe theatre playwright, Franciscan friar, and secondary school teacher, I find myself dividing my time mostly between looking after the needs of four donkeys in a remote location in the mountains in the Costa Blanca and preparing a legal case against the corrupt management of my monstrous last employer - the Elians group - for unfair dismissal. I like to hear the wind in the pine trees. I do not like struggling to get a duvet into a duvet cover. My musical tastes are extinct and I have mostly given up cycle racing.
